Shipping, payments and fees
Does Shrig Shop ship worldwide?
We ship to most countries, except Brazil, Russia and some other territories. If you are based in Norway or the Isle of Man and want to buy posters you can buy them through our Etsy shop here. If you’re in a location where we do not ship you can always contact us and we can see if it's possible to find a solution for you. You can read more about our shipping policy here.
Will I have to pay customs charges and/or import fees on my package?
We are based in Denmark so orders within the EU do not attract customs charges or import fees.
For orders outside the EU, you only pay import fees if your order is above this level:
UK - €156
USA - €750
Australia - €600
In this case VAT is automatically deducted from your order at checkout, so you do not pay tax twice (5% limited edition prints, 25% for all other items).
For all other countries, please check with your tax office locally to find out the import rules.
When will you send my order?
In most cases we pack and send your order within 3 business days of receiving it. At peak times (e.g. in the run up to Christmas) it can take us up to 5 business days.
How do you send my order?
Most orders are sent by courier: GLS in Denmark, UPS for Europe, DHL for the rest of the world. Orders sent by courier are tracked.
For small orders, there’s also the option to use PostNord (the Danish national postal service) for most locations. Orders sent with PostNord are untracked.
How do I track my order?
If you choose to have your item delivered by courier, you’ll get an email with a tracking link once your package is sent. Orders sent with PostNord are untracked.
How long does shipping take?
Courier shipping usually takes 2 - 5 days from when the package leaves us to when it arrives at its destination.
PostNord shipping varies according to location: 1-2 weeks to most of Europe, 3-6 weeks to the USA, 4-8 weeks to Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
My card was charged but my order didn’t go through - what do I do?
Our online shop has rejected the payment, usually because the info you’ve provided doesn’t match what is registered with your card issuer. In this case, your bank has taken the money from your account and will put it back in a few days. This happens automatically and the time it takes varies from bank to bank. If you don’t see the money back on your account in a few days’ time, please get in touch with your bank directly.
We have noticed that cards from newer banks like Revolut and Monzo fail more often than those from older institutions. If you have trouble with cards from one of these banks, we recommend using PayPal instead.
