Shipping policy

Here’s our shipping policy and some important information about shipping costs and import duties. If you have any questions about what you find here, or something isn’t covered, please email us: info@shrigleyshop.com.


Tariffs and Import Fees

  • US customers: please read this important information about tariffs before placing your order. 
  • Buyers from the UK: for orders over €156, VAT is automatically deducted at checkout. In this case you will pay import fees to UK customs instead. For orders under €156, you will not have to pay import fees.
  • Buyers from Australia: for orders over €600, VAT is automatically deducted at checkout. In this case you will pay import fees to Australian customs instead. For orders under €600, you will not have to pay import fees. 
  • Buyers from other Non-EU countries: VAT is automatically deducted at checkout. You may need to pay import fees when the shipment arrives at the destination country. The amount payable depends on the value of the items and the import rules in your country.
  • Limited Edition fine art prints are taxed at 5% worldwide. If you are buying them within the EU, you pay the tax on checkout. For Non-EU countries including the UK you do not pay tax at checkout. Instead you’ll need to pay import fees when the shipment arrives in the destination country.
  • If your package is returned to us because you refused to pay import fees, outward and return shipping costs will be deducted before a refund is issued.


Packing and Shipping

  • Most items are shipped by courier (DHL, UPS, GLS) to ensure speedy delivery. For small orders to anywhere except the UK & US you can choose PostNord (the Danish postal service). You’ll see the shipping costs and options available for your order at checkout.
  • It is not possible for us to send orders to a PO Box, all orders must be sent to a fixed street address.
  • We aim to pack and send your order within 3 business days of receiving it, except at peak times (e.g. in the run up to Christmas), when it can take us up to 5 business days to send it.
  • Orders placed after 10am Central European Time on a Friday are processed the following Tuesday.
  • If your order is urgent, please email us info@shrigleyshop.com and we’ll do everything we can to prioritise it.

Delivery

  • If you have selected a delivery option with tracked shipping (GPS, UPS or DHL), you’ll receive an email with a tracking number when your package has been sent. If you have selected a delivery option with untracked shipping (PostNord), no tracking information is provided.
  • Your order is delivered to the shipping address you provide when you place your order. If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept the order when it is delivered, the courier will contact you to arrange re-delivery.
  • If you choose UPS Access Point or GLS PakkeShop as the shipping option, the order will be delivered to your nearest Access Point or PakkeShop. You’ll receive notifications by both email and SMS when the package has arrived. It is your responsibility to collect the item within a few days - if not, the package will be returned to us. In this case you will not be eligible for a refund of your shipping costs.
  • If the courier is unable to deliver the package to you, they return it to us in Copenhagen, Denmark and we get in touch with you by email. If you choose to have the item re-delivered, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Issues with your order

  • We do everything we can to ensure that your order arrives promptly and in perfect condition. If you receive your item damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at info@shrigleyshop.com. We will review the issue and do everything we can to correct it.

Legal Stuff

  • Shrig Shop ships to almost all countries worldwide. If you are located somewhere we do not ship to, you are welcome to contact us and we will see if we can find a solution for you.
  • Shrig Shop reserves the right to refuse to ship to specific countries.
  • Shrig Shop cannot guarantee how long a shipment takes to arrive and is not responsible for any delays once the order has been handed over to the carrier.
  • Shrig Shop does not ship wine or any other forms of alcohol outside of Europe due to import restrictions.
